It is always an exciting day when I get photos from photographers from past weddings! I had the pleasure of working with this bride and groom throughout their entire wedding planning adventure. They were so kind from the start and nothing changed on their wedding day. I loved being able to meet their closest family + friends.

Can I just say I could go on and on and onnn about this wonderful weather we are having in Savannah these last couple of days? As I am writing this post I have my windows open, feeling this heavenly breeze. Ahhhhh.
When I think of early spring weddings in Savannah I think of yummy florals, lots of color, and the perfect weather. Tulips are a great spring flower, not only because they are in season but also because they come in so many amazing colors. Did you know that once tulips are cut their stems keep growing? Crazy, right?
I am super excited about all our up coming spring weddings. With spring in the air and Easter right around the corner here is some great inspiration for you pastel and tulip lovers.

“A dream you dream alone is only a dream. A dream you dream together is reality.” — John Lennon
I was so delighted when I saw these photos! They are absolutely stunning. Plus this pretty in pink wedding was featured on 100 Layer Cake recently! They said it best: “If you love pink, Margaret + Michael’s Savannah wedding sure will sweep you off your feet. It was all about classic southern style for them—a Dixieland band, the iconic fountain in Forsyth Park, and a little vintage glamour for a timeless feel.” It was a true delight to work with this bride and groom and a honor to be apart of their beautiful wedding day!

String lights come in many different sizes, shapes and colors and will add a more intimate feel to your outside, indoor, or tent wedding. They give an amazing glow that you can’t get any other way. Some historical venus do not allow candles, string lights are a great alternative. If you are going for a more elegant look go with all white lights. For a whimsical feel have colored lights mixed in with white or add streamers. For a more vintage look go with the large bulbs. Strings lights are just the start of what you can do with lighting for your ceremony and reception but are sometimes a cheaper way than hiring a company to add up lighting, spot lighting and more. Check out these great ideas!!
